Botswana climate: Botswana is a country in southern Africa with almost 2 million inhabitants. Neighboring countries are Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa. The landscape is largely determined by high arid plains. The Kalahari desert dominates the landscape in the south and west. In the north-west lie the fertile wetlands of the Okavango delta. Other attractions include the Moremi game reserve, the wildlife park of Chobe, the Central Kgalagadi Reserve, the Khutse Game Reserve and the Trans-Frontier National Park. Furthermore, the Okavango delta, the Makgadikgadi salt pans, the Limpopo valley and Tsodilo Hills.
