Ghana practical travel information: Ghana is a monarchy in West Africa with 23 million inhabitants. Neighboring countries are Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso and Togo. Other cities are Tema, Koforidua, Wa, Cape Coast, Ho, Sekondi-Takoradi, Sunyani, Kumasi, Tamale, Bolgatanga and Asamankese. At the World Heritage list of UNESCO, the Asante traditional buildings and the slave forts and castles in Greater Accra, Volta and Central and Western regions. Other attractions include the Prempeh II Jubilee museum, the six caves of the Likpe in Hohoe, 20 wildlife parks and nature reserves, the Manhyia Palace Museum and the market Kejetia.
