The Seychelles is an archipelago in the Indian Ocean with 82,000 inhabitants. The republic is situated 600 kilometers east of Kenya and northeast of Madagascar. The country consists of 155 tropical islands and coral. Only the islands Mahe, Praslin and La Dique are inhabited. The inner islands consist of forty granite islands and two coral islands increased. At the World Heritage list of UNESCO are the Aldabra Atoll and the Vallee de Mai Nature Reserve. Other attractions are the palm Coc de Mer, the giant tortoises, the bird island Cousin, the infamous pirate Olivier Levasseur, nose frog from the Ghats mountain range, the rain forests and the underwater world.
